My car is brand new 11,000 miles and one month after purchasing this noise started. Needless to say Nissan is giving me hell to repurchase the vehicle. Anybody has any suggestions? I am so tired of their attitude Thanks.

I wouldn't think they would repurchase the car for this noise. should be a warranty repair only.

Lou, long time fan here. Watching from the beginning of this project. I love the fact that you don’t hide anything, sometimes projects are much more than anticipated and life also happens. However, your perseverance is to be greatly commended!!! You’ve hit more roadblocks and pushed through more than any UA-camr should have to. So much of that car has been built by hand by you. One day you’ll get out of your pool, slide on your flip flops and button up your favorite Hawaiian shirt and go for a drive with the wind in your hair and enjoy all of your work! Very inspiring Craig

To help the E brake central balance mechanism stay tight to the crossmember, you can fab up spacers that fit inside the crossmember tube and keep it from crushing as yours is doing now. This will require drilling the holes on one side only of the crossmember to match the OD of the fabricated spacers. I.e. the spacers seat against the inside wall of one side of the crossmember and are flush with the outside face of the opposite side.

  • @stevewilliams6348

Are you sure the mounts themselves have not collapsed? There is a spring inside each mount that can sag or break.
